Luke 3:21-22

Luke 23:33-46
When they came to the place called The Skull, they crucified him there. The two evildoers did the same, one on the right and the other on the left. Then Jesus said to them, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” They divided the clothes and cast lots. The people stood watching, but the rulers laughed at him and said, “He has saved others. If he is the Christ, whom God has chosen, then let him save himself.” The soldiers also mocked him and came forward, offering him sour wine and saying, “If you are the king of the Jews.” He said save yourself.
On him was an inscription: This is the King of the Jews. One of the criminals who was hung blasphemed him, saying, “Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us.” But the other rebuked him, saying, “Don’t you fear God, even though you have the same condemnation? It is natural that we receive a due recompense for what we have done, and there is nothing wrong with this man. He said to him, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” Jesus said to him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” He said, “It will be in.”
And it was about the sixth hour, that the sun went down, and darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour. And the curtain of the sanctuary was rent in the middle. And Jesus called with a loud voice, and said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit. After doing this, he died.
Matthew 28:1-7
After the Sabbath had passed, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb.
